National Railways
Vossloh adapts its services to meet the requirements of each network and proposes industrialized solutions, offering the best safety and comfort level for passengers. This result is obtained by adopting principles such as cast manganese frogs with flash welded legs, and safety and control devices.
Urban Transport
Vossloh proposes a full range of Points and Crossings for all types of metros and tramways.
The company has proven its capacity to quickly install and commission pre-tested and pre-assembled Points and Crossings, whether for light or heavy metros on tired wheels or tracks, making it possible to minimize the interruption of traffic and thus optimize costs.
Tramways:
Vossloh proposes turnkey solutions for tramways in the greatest cities worldwide, no matter the rail profile or technique. These solutions offer comfort, safety and reliability, such as machined solid monobloc switches.
Very High Speeds
Vossloh is a pioneer in the high-speed field, and the preferred supplier of Points and Crossings. The first units were supplied for the South-East TGV (very high speed train) as of 1980. The Vossloh technology and especially the cast manganese frogs with movable crossings, patented by Vossloh, and the integrally inclined running table can be crossed by train sets running at the highest speeds. In 1991, the Points and Crossings designed and produced by Vossloh were crossed at 501 km/h by the Atlantic TGV.
More than 700 Points and Crossings, specially designed for high speeds, have been provided by Vossloh to different very high-speed networks throughout the world (Spain, Italy, Belgium, Korea, Scandinavia...).
The capacity of Vossloh to adapt its products and its extensive experience of all types of track allows its design offices to find innovative solutions to very specific requests: heavy tracks such as those for the Ariane rocket at Kourou, Californian switch, rack line of the Lyon metro, tracks for harbor cranes, etc...
Special cast parts for switch rails
Vossloh produces special forged parts for switch rails (more than 10,000 different profiles) thanks to a computer controlled ultra high performance press.
